Getting a Haircut

Lucas and I went to this really great haircutting place for kids. It's called PIGTAILS AND CREWCUTS. They had a big train table that Lucas could play with while waiting for his hair cutting appointment. So cute!! The chairs were shaped like cars and airplanes. Lucas was so good. I was amazed at how calm he was...even when she used the clippers over his ears...Adorable!!! Even after the cut, his hair is still curling...so Sweet!!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY--Georgia Aquarium

Musical Potential??? hmmmmm...

Well, Lucas ran to the piano this morning and just started jammin' away. Luckily, I managed to capture a bit of it!! It is pretty hilarious. The first video (a variation on Twinkle Twinkle) is funny because when he realized we were recording, we wasn't too happy about being "caught on tape." In the second video, he is improvising his little heart out a la "John Cage" style. I especially LOVE the random B-flat minor chord he plays in the middle of this performance!! What an ear!! Go, Lucas!!

Dancing Nemo

My friend and I took our little ones to the Georgia Aquarium yesterday. We had a great time. Lucas loved all the fish, especially the stuffed Nemo that his friend Savannah brought to him!! They both had matching Nemos!! Lucas also instigated the dancing Nemos as he played the dancing tune found in an Elmo book in the car!! Enjoy!
