EASTER MORNING

We had a wonderful Easter holiday! The Easter Bunny brought Lucas lots of treats, and we had Justin's family (along with two special friends) over for a wonderful Easter meal! What a special day it was! We also had an Easter Egg Hunt at our home for Lucas. He is finally getting the idea of what to do with the eggs!

Funny Things Heard at the Lee Household

Lucas and Mommy discussing financial matters:
Lucas: Why don't we just go and spend some money on toys?
Paula: Well, it isn't in the budget today, and mom and dad are really trying to save all our money for the baby (our adoption)
Lucas: (heavy sigh) We are gonna need a lot of quarters...
Paula: uh....yeah...

When Justin was wiping Lucas's runny nose:
Lucas: Daddy, what are you doing?
Justin: Well you got some nose neighbors there.
Lucas: Well, I guess I have some nose neighbors who came to visit me.
Too funny!

When giving goodnight hugs and kisses

Lucas: Mommy, I love you 16 million!!

When playing "policeman"
Lucas: Mommy, I have a shooter and I'm gonna shoot these bad guys with LOVE!

While taking down and cleaning all the Christmas decorations, including a poor shedding Christmas tree...
Lucas: Mom, Christmas is all about cleaning up messes!
Perhaps we need to re-visit the meaning of our holiday season!

Lucas: Mommy, I wanna exercise. I gotta go get on my shoes
(Lucas runs to put on his tennis shoes)
MOMMY: Lucas, how do you exercise?
Lucas: (thinking) Well, first I do my arms like this (waving frantically in the air), then I do my legs like this (stamping feet on the ground), then I lay on the couch.

After tasting SPRITE for the first time:
Lucas: Mommy, this taste very cold....and SPICEY!

While playing with mommy's hair
Lucas: Mommy, you hair is so stylish.

While looking at himself in the mirror:
Lucas, you look stylish!

While looking at the variety of dings (more than likely caused by toy cars) in my wall with his pretend magnifying glass
Lucas: Hmmmmmmmm, this looks mysterious...

(When watching the Diego show on Monarch Butterflies)
Lucas: Mommy I can't fly because I do not have a paradider.(aka paraglider)--huh? where did he learn the word paraglider?

Lucas: Mommy, where is my car?
Mommy: I think Pasha (our cat) is lying on it.
Lucas: Well, it's mine and I want it.
Mommy: Maybe he wants to play with it too.
Lucas: (in his most serious face) Mommy, cats can't drive cars because they don't have hands!
